Matthew Manotoc and Marvin Espiritu, the accomplished sons of influential basketball personalities, have merged to form Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management (EMBM). In an effort to continue Danny Espiritu’s esteemed empire, the legendary agent will back the partners in revolutionizing the landscape of sports management in the country.
Matthew, the son of Hall of Fame coach Tommy Manotoc, graduated from Claremont McKenna College and studied sports management at UCLA. He also worked with the WNBA, Philippine Sports Commission, and the Philippine National Basketball Team. For non-basketball sports, Manotoc will also start Manotoc Management Group, Philippines (MMGP), the first nationalistic sports agency to harness and maximize the Philippine’s elite athletes.
While a successful entrepreneur in his own right, Espiritu has worked alongside his father for decades granting him invaluable contractual and industry knowledge.
EMBM is the Philippine’s first full-service basketball agency: each of its clients will receive special services such as endorsements, financial planning, sports psychology, PR and marketing plans, filing of taxes, off-season training, etc.
EMBM has set a standard of excellence and professionalism making it the Philippine’s premier basketball agency.
